About
Tiranga, India’s national flag, is a powerful emblem of freedom, pride, and unity. Its three colors carry profound significance: saffron represents courage and sacrifice, white symbolizes peace and truth, and green reflects prosperity and growth. At the center lies the navy blue Ashoka Chakra with 24 spokes, representing justice, progress, and the eternal cycle of life. Adopted on 22 July 1947, the Tiranga has inspired generations and continues to unite Indians worldwide. Hoisted during national festivals, sporting events, and global occasions, it remains a timeless symbol of India’s spirit, heritage, and sovereignty.
